Knowledge Hub Quiz Competition (KHQC)

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in all online and offline quiz examinations, use of the official website https://khqc.in, and any related services provided by Knowledge Hub Quiz Competition (KHQC).

By registering, accessing, or participating in any KHQC activity, the participant and/or their parent/guardian (in case of minors) agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

KHQC reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website, and continued participation shall constitute acceptance of these changes.

Participation is open to students aged 8 years and above enrolled in recognised schools.

For participants below 18 years, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

All registration details (name, class, school, contact information) must be true, accurate, and complete. Any false or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification without refund.

Registration Fee: ₹199 per participant.

The registration fee is non-transferable.

Only one entry per participant is permitted.

Examinations may be conducted online or offline as scheduled by KHQC.

Use of unfair means, including copying, impersonation, external assistance, or tampering with systems, is strictly prohibited.

Any participant found violating rules shall face immediate disqualification, permanent ban from KHQC events, and forfeiture of fees.

KHQC reserves the right to verify results, scores, and participant identity.

Results, rankings, and prize decisions made by KHQC shall be final and binding. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained.

Certificates and prizes (if applicable) will be issued within 30 days of the result declaration.

For offline exams, an admit card and a valid photo ID proof are mandatory.

The registration fee is non-refundable after 48 hours of payment.

Full refund is permitted within 4 hours of payment or if the event is cancelled by KHQC.

A processing fee of ₹50 is non-refundable in all cancellation cases.

No refund shall be issued for:

• Absence or non-attendance
• Disqualification
• Violation of rules

If KHQC cancels an event, a full refund will be processed within 7 days and credited to the original payment method within 10 working days.

All quiz content, questions, study materials, logos, branding, and intellectual property belong exclusively to KHQC.

Participants grant KHQC a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use their name, score, rank, photograph, or school name for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes.

Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of KHQC materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

KHQC collects personal information, including name, school, email address, and phone number, solely for registration, examination management, result declaration, and prize distribution.

Data is processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

Parental consent is mandatory for participants under 18 years of age.

Users have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting KHQC support.

Data is shared only with authorised service providers under strict confidentiality and is never sold to third parties.

Data retention period: 1 year after the event or as required by applicable law.

KHQC services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

KHQC shall not be liable for technical issues, internet failures, data loss, or indirect or consequential damages.

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the registration fee paid by the participant.

KHQC shall not be held responsible for delays or failure in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• War, terrorism, or civil unrest
• Pandemics
• Government orders or restrictions
• Strikes or technical breakdowns

In such cases, KHQC shall notify participants and may provide pro-rata refunds if the event is cancelled.

Participants and/or guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless KHQC, its organisers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from:

• Incorrect information provided
• Violation of these Terms
• Any unlawful or negligent act by the participant

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, before a sole arbitrator appointed by KHQC.

The courts at Lucknow shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and no other courts shall have jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain in full force.

Failure by KHQC to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement rights.

KHQC reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation for any violation of these Terms without refund.
